Hello! My name is Karolina (Karol) and I am an educator at Body Safety Australia.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology and a Dip Ed in Education. I have a deep interest and passion about child development, understanding and processing emotions and normalising conversations around sex, consent and respectful and fulfilling relationships.
My studies have allowed me to the opportunity to work in a diverse range of areas such as working with asylum seekers, youth, women and children experiencing family violence. Working within these areas allowed me to understand the importance of connection and how important it is to build relationship skills around respect and consent. I thoroughly enjoy facilitating conversations centred around sex, puberty, relationships, and the understanding of emotions. I strongly believe that learning about these concepts from an early age creates meaningful and empowering future relationships.
My aim is to create and facilitate a space that is fun, nurturing, and respectful where people can learn, questions and discuss.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me going to food markets, saving recipes I’ll never use and singing and dancing (with not much skill!) with my young child.
