Opportunity for Queensland Primary Schools to join Body Safety Australia pilot program.
Body Safety Australia is looking for primary schools in Brisbane and Townsville to take part in a pilot program to help with feedback and further development of programs in Queensland. The program is available to go live in Term 1 and will be provided to up to 4 eligible schools.
As well as educating and empowering staff and students in body safety and respectful relationships, participating schools will receive the program at cost price and have the opportunity to lead the charge in prioritising child safety and well-being in their community.
The pilot program can be delivered to one year level or school-wide, and we provide dedicated and tailored support to ensure smooth delivery and alignment to school values.
Founded in 2015, Body Safety Australia is a not-for-profit organisation providing collaborative community solutions to foster robust, respectful relationships with children and young people.
Our evidence-based strategies and programs empower and educate children and young people, their families, and professionals in the home and school environments, offline and online.
Our Programs
Body Safety Australia provides a suite of programs including:
- Body Safety Superstars!: Protective behaviours and body safety education.
- Naked Truths: Navigating respectful relationships, sex and sexuality online.
- Unique You!: Responsive, inclusive and age-appropriate relationships and sexuality education.
- Imagine Me: Promoting positive body image for children and young people.
- Gender Glorious: Examining gender bias in education settings and promoting gender and sexuality inclusivity and equity.
- Speaker Program: Presentations on strengths-based prevention education, LGBTQIA+ inclusivity, and community engagement.
